GIRELTO / TRAVEL COMPANION NOTES
A well-prepared journey begins with the exact item's instructions and a careful look at its condition.
1. Inspect before every outing
Check the handles, straps, seams, mesh and closures for damage or wear. Set the empty carrier on a stable surface and confirm that it is correctly assembled or opened into its intended shape. Stop using an item if a problem could affect containment or handling. Do not assume a decorative pocket or attachment point is designed to support a load.
2. Keep airflow and comfort in view
Keep mesh panels clear of luggage, fabric and other objects. Never leave a pet unattended in a carrier, in a hot vehicle or in prolonged direct sun. Observe the animal throughout a journey and plan suitable breaks. A carrier cannot make an unsuitable journey appropriate for a pet that is unwell, distressed or unable to settle.
3. Use a suitable cleaning approach
Follow product-specific cleaning instructions. Without those instructions, do not assume that machine washing, tumble drying, soaking or a particular cleaning chemical is safe. Gently remove loose debris and seek guidance for marks or odors when the required method is unclear. Let the bag dry completely before storage or use.
4. Store and check again
Store the item away from moisture, direct heat and chewing damage. Keep any supplied instructions with your order records so they are available before the next trip. Recheck all closures and support points after storage. For a question about the condition of a received product, email service@girelto.com with the product name and a clear description.
5. Travel within supported use
A pet travel bag is not automatically an airline-approved carrier, a crash-tested restraint or veterinary equipment. Check the actual operator's current rules and the specific product information. Ask an appropriate professional about medical, mobility or behavioral concerns. Read How to Choose before selecting and our Return Policy if a received item has a problem.
